16.2 hand bay Stallion.

Innkeeper is a spectacular stallion. Innkeeper has sired winners on the racetrack, and 100% TB Sporthorse foals that have been approved by the NA Oldenburg Registry. He is a beautifully made horse. He is a striking bay color, and has a beautiful way of going. He has bone and substance combined with an agile and graceful demeanor. He has a big trot, and a huge gallop. He has a wonderful disposition. He was born in 1988 and is 16.2 hands high. Innkeeper was approved ISR/Oldenberg NA in 1999 and is the only living registered TB stallion in this registry.

Innkeeper is beautifully bred, and his sire is the famous Secretariat. Secretariat was the Triple Crown winner of 1973, and many other G1 Stakes wins are to his credit. He has been a very influential sire both on the race track, and in the Hunter Jumper arena. Secretariat had a superb way of moving. He possessed a free and excellent use of his shoulder, brought to full action by his awesome and very powerful driving hindquarters. He has been passing this and other wonderful traits down to his descendants.

Secretariat had a heart that weighed approximately 19 pounds. A normal horse heart is somewhere around 8.5 pounds. It has been speculated that this large heart gave him the ability to annihilate his field at the running of the Belmont, the third leg of the Triple Crown, by a staggering 31 lengths. He was in fact still pulling away at the finish line. We will never know what his absolute capabilities were, and therefore, he has a prominent role in this breeding program. We hope to give our horses the best opportunity possible to not only meet the challenges of the Sport Horse world, but hopefully exceed expectations for many years to come.
