excellent form and athletic jumping ability. She is competing
successfully in the world of eventing. Like many of her relatives
in the First Secretary /Jetta Rue line, she scores exceptionally
well in her dressage.
Jets April Babe, “Jetta”, is by Jetta
Rue who is by First Secretary the famous Appaloosa son
of Secretariat. Jetta Rue is a 16 hand black and white
Appaloosa with multiple World and National Championships.
He has sired many notable winners in working hunter division
and suitability for dressage. Jets April Babe is out of a
mare named Bars Classy Babe an Appaloosa who was also
an exceptional jumper.
Jetta’s first
foal arrived on May 10th, 2006 who is
by the exceptional Thoroughbred Innkeeper.
Fighting to get up before she was out of the sack, and on her
feet for hours at a time at less than 24 hours old, she came
into this world fully active and equipped. This filly is inbred
to Secretariat 2Sx4D, meaning that the 1973 Triple Crown winner
is in the second generation on the top side of her pedigree,
an in the fourth generation on the bottom side of her pedigree.
She is a solid chestnut, with a star and white markings on
both hind legs. We are very excited about this foal and what
she will have to offer the Sporthorse world. This filly is
already showing her exceptional athleticism and bold character.
Her stamina seems endless. This in combination with her charming
personality, makes her a truly unique individual. We will be
watching her career with great interest.
