Satin Flag is a Thoroughbred mare with lovely attributes which start with a beautiful head and neck that gracefully flows to a strong and very correct shoulder. She has a very wide chest and depth of girth. Her movement stems from her powerful hindquarters, and she bounces solidly on her well built legs, exhibiting balance and agility. She is a very curious and bold individual, a trait that is revered in all disciplines. Satin Flag also possesses intellect and a loyal and kind temperament. She was bred to a Dutch Warmblood named Alexander. Their first foal was born May 8th, 2006 without complication. He is a gorgeous dark bay and white colt with beautiful markings. He has exceptional conformation and movement. Her coming foal is due May 2007 and will be available for sale at that time.

Satin Flag is the granddaughter of Hoist The Flag which can be compared to ‘Salute The Truth’, a full blooded TB event horse, competing at the Advanced Level. Satin Flag has two lines of Owen Tudor, a very strong eventing and sport influence. She also combines the highly regarded Sir Gaylord along with many other notable jumping lines. There are many other horses worth mentioning from her pedigree, War Admiral, Somethingroyal (dam of Secretariat), Bold Matron by Bold Ruler, to name only a few. We will be exploring Satin Flag’s talents in 2007 and look forward to starting her career as a Sporthorse.
