West Freeman Acres is a small family operated farm that has been part of our family for generations. Breeding and raising quality sporthorses is not the only activity at West Freeman Acres.

The spring is very busy tending to our Maple Syrup production. Our Maple Syrup operation is a relatively small (300-400 taps), family run business that allows us to sell 30-40 gallons each year. We take an extreme amount of pride in the excellent quality syrup we produce. We tap only the finest sugar maple trees and bottle only syrup produced on our farm.

Due to the small quantity produced we only offer pint size bottles and smaller for sale. Our season starts in mid to late March and wraps up about mid April, just in time for the arrival of our new foals. Once the foals arrive and are into the first few weeks of their new lives, it’s then time to get geared up for hay season.

We spend much of our summer raising two crops of hay for our own use and for numerous hay customers. This summer we will also be offering organic pasture raised poultry for purchase.
